Hi, I’m Jakov – the captain, owner, and heart behind J Sailing.With over 15 years of experience on the Adriatic and a few regatta wins under my belt, sailing is more than a job – it’s my way of life. I love sharing that passion with guests, whether it’s teaching the basics, finding the perfect swimming spot, or just enjoying a relaxing day at sea.
Based in the Zadar region, I’ll take you to quiet bays, hidden coves, and crystal-clear waters – always with a smile and a good story.

Meet the Boat – Sail la Vie II

Sail la Vie II is my 12-meter sailboat – custom-built right here in Croatia, made for both speed and comfort. She’s a true racing boat, but also perfect for easygoing days on the sea.
There’s plenty of space on board for up to 12 guests, whether you want to try sailing or just cruise between beautiful swim spots. When we stop, I’ll open up the shade so you can relax out of the sun – and while we’re sailing, the sails give us plenty of natural cover.
